To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

This RAM® No-Drill™ vehicle base and laptop stand installs quickly into the specified vehicles using the existing hardware of the passenger side seat rails, and provides a telescoping feature that ranges from 12 to 18 inches. Dual swing arms provide articulation and 12 inches of reach for passenger and driver access to the mounted device. The RAM® rubber ball and socket system provides additional adjustability as well as shock and vibration damping, and the RAM® Tough-Tray™ is spring-loaded to accommodate 10" to 16" wide laptops (and 17" wide screens). This laptop holder features four adjustable retaining arms with rubber grips that can be moved both vertically and horizontally – allowing for a custom fit to support various sizes of laptops without blocking ports and drives. A screen support and USB light are also available to accessorize the RAM® Tough-Tray™, and hole patterns on the perimeter of the holder facilitate the mounting of additional RAM® systems to support GPS devices and other electronics.
