A: The recommended ball size is dependent on a number of factors including device size/weight, mount length/position and application. Here is a basic overview of the ball size weight capacities.

A: The size of the ball mount e.g. 'B' size (1" ball size) is referring to the diameter of the ball. Measure the ball from one side to the other to find the diameter.

A: Our X-Grip product line are supplied with a small tube of super glue. It is advised that each rubber cap is removed, a small drop of glue applied to the hole and reattached; pressing firmly until secure. This will ensure that your X-Grip rubber caps never come loose.

A: Any of our products that have any electrical components will have 'waterproof' in the product title if they are. All of our non-electrical products (either metal or composite) will be perfectly fine to use in wet weather. Please get in touch with our sales team if you are considering a solution for any extreme applications.

A: The Galaxy Tab Active 8" series (2, 3 and 5) are all physically the same size. If you have a powered, or non-powered dock that worked with the Galaxy Tab Active 2, it is very likely that it will work with the 3, or 5. Please double check with our technical team about your specific project requirements.

A: No. Our Tab-Tite range is designed so that you only need to replace the 'cups' of the holder when you change device. The mounting bracket and backplate will remain the same. Contact our sales team for further info.

A: While there is not a drawing for every mount and component available, many are included on the individual product pages.

The answer is yes. The patented design utilizes a rubber ball and socket that greatly reduces the amount vibration that can be transmitted into electronics. RAM® Mounts are not guaranteed to alleviate known vibration issues with Apple iPhone cameras. Exposure to vibrations, like those generated by high-powered motorcycle engines, might impact iPhone cameras. Click here to learn more.

A: If there is not a hardware pack part number available, the hardware cannot be purchased separately. The entire product would need to be purchased again.
