Q: Do RAM mounts really dampen shock and vibration?

The answer is yes. The patented design utilizes a rubber ball and socket that greatly reduces the amount vibration that can be transmitted into electronics. RAM® Mounts are not guaranteed to alleviate known vibration issues with Apple iPhone cameras. Q: I have lost my hardware, can I buy hardware?

A: If there is not a hardware pack part number available, the hardware cannot be purchased separately. The entire product would need to be purchased again.

Q: I want a base that does not require any holes or drilling. What’s available?

A: RAM-B-224-1U = 4” suction cup with 1” ball for glass surface
RAP-B-378U = Flexible adhesive base with 1" ball.
