To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

The RAM Tough-Tray™ is spring loaded expandable tray that can accommodate 10 to 16 inch wide laptops. The tray includes four (4) side clamping arm with rubber grip feature. These arms can be moved both vertically and horizontally. This allows for a custom fit for varying thicknesses of laptops and the freedom of not blocking ports or drives. Hole patterns on perimeter of tray facilitate the mounting of additional RAM systems to support GPS, PDAs or other electronics. The Tough-Tray™ is compatible with laptops that have 17" screens. Truck fleets world wide will appreciate the well crafted universal multi-function vehicle base now offered by RAM. Considering the wide variety of seating arrangements in the commercial vehicle market, this new vehicle base is reversible by design. Now installers don’t have to choose between locating a flat surface or round tubing to attach to under the vehicle seat. RAM has you covered with either configuration. Tubing framed seats can be attached to in minutes using the supplied u-bolts. Once in place and safely secured, several hole patterns are available allowing the freedom to choose how best to create your custom mounting solution. Steel box frame seats need only four discrete holes drilled to secure the base. Using hardware chosen and supplied by the installer, secure the base where it’s most convenient. Using the supplied u-bolt hardware, attach any number of RAM pedestal mounts to create a mounting system unmatched in its versatility and stability. There simply is no substitute for RAM vehicle products.
