To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

The RAM-B-139U-A consists of a medium length B-size double socket arm, one 2.5" round plate and one 2" X 1.7" plate that contains the universal AMPS hole pattern. The mount is designed with a 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm; this allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles. The AMPS hole pattern on each plate will connect to many RAM cradles, including all iPad cradles. The included RAM’s patented design dampens shock and vibration, helping to extend the life of your device.
