"RAM" Prefix Code
To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.
"RAP" Prefix Code
Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

This GDS® Tough-Dock™ vehicle dock (RAM-GDS-DOCK-SAM54CD2U) is designed to support the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro in an IntelliSkin® Next Gen protective sleeve for your fleet. While the dock uses a USB Type-C female power connector and integrated pogo pins to provide power to the device while docked, the GDS® Tough-Dock™ also includes a dual USB Type-A connector to support up to two peripheral add-ons such as a keyboard, printer, scanner and more. The GDS® Tough-Dock™ is compatible with RAM® ball and socket systems using the integrated 4-hole AMPS hole pattern. The GDS® Tough-Dock™ is backed by a 3-year warranty. Always Protected.
