To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

The RAM® Finger-Grip™ Universal Mount with Medium Torque™ Base (RAM-B-408-75-1-UN4U) is a versatile, rail-mounted kit designed to securely hold a wide range of handheld devices. The Finger-Grip™ device holder features three sets of four flexible, rubber-coated “finger” arms in different lengths, allowing you to customize the grip to your device’s exact size. These fingers mount to a backing plate with multiple slotted holes, enabling precise positioning for a firm, secure hold. Once configured, your device can be easily inserted and removed while remaining stable, even in rough conditions. Optional top and bottom supports are included for added security when needed. Paired with the Torque™ base, this kit is compatible with rails 3/4” to 1” in diameter. Sizing inserts are included to provide a tight fit while also protecting the mounting surface. The RAM® Torque™ mounting base also includes nylon-insert lock nuts to prevent loosening in high vibration environments. The RAM® double socket arm and ball-and-socket system provide nearly infinite adjustability, allowing you to achieve the perfect viewing angle every time. It is important to verify the dimensions of your handheld device with its case, sleeve, or skin when determining the overall size.
