To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

The GDS® Uni-Conn™ Vehicle Bundle + USB-C & USB-A for Samsung Tab Active5 (RAM-GDS-U1-SAM90-KIT5) is a comprehensive kit of everything needed to deploy the Tab Active5 in your fleet. It contains one GDS® Uni-Conn™ dock, Uni-Conn™ adapter, IntelliSkin® for the Tab Active5, and short double ball mount with backing plate. The dock uses a USB Type-C female power connector while the USB-A pigtail allows you to connect one input device such as a mouse, keyboard, scanner gun, & more. The integrated pogo pins connect to the IntelliSkin®-wrapped device, providing power while docked. This dock features an easy docking and undocking process, simply place the IntelliSkin®-wrapped device into the base of the dock and push it to snap into place. When undocking, a simple push of a lever releases the tablet. The GDS® Uni-Conn™ is backed by a 3-year warranty. Warranty is void if the lever stop is not installed. Always Protected.
