"RAM" Prefix Code

To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

"RAP" Prefix Code

Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

The weight limits below are a guide only. All factors in a planned mounting configuration should be considered to choose the most suitable ball size.

C Size - Medium - Large Tablets in Heavier Duty Applications
D Size - Heavy and Rugged Tablets and Laptops in Commercial Applications

RAM ROD® Rod Holder with Extension Arm and RAM® Track-Node™ Base

The RAM® Track-Node™ is a ratcheting, highly adjustable track base designed to accommodate both fishing rod holders and the RAM® Tough-Pole™ action camera mount. This kit includes the RAM® Track-Node™ base, RAM ROD® ratchet attachment, 8” extension arm, and RAM ROD® 2000 fishing rod holder. To prevent any side-to-side movement on the track, a fixed washer is included so the RAM® Track-Node™ base can be securely tightened. With a quick twist of the knob, easily swing the RAM ROD® 2000 rod holder in and out of your vessel. To install, simply slide the RAM® Track-Node™ base into your track mount system thanks to the connected T-Bolt and turn the circular knob to tighten in place. Loosen the circular knob for 360-degree rotation. The RAM® Track-Node™ is compatible with all versions of the RAM® Tough-Track™ and most third-party track mount systems.
