To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.
"RAP" Prefix Code
Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

This powered dock for the Samsung Tab Active5, Tab Active3 and 2 retains all the same capabilities as the other RAM® EZ-Roll'r™ powered docks for the Tab Active5/3/2, with an added dual speaker integrated into the bottom of the dock for amplified audio while on the road. Power and data sync capabilities are provided to the device through GDS® pogo pins while taking advantage of this cradle's USB-A port to support an additional peripheral making this the ideal, compact mounting solution for your mobile workstation. Additional cavity in the back of the dock allows room for the GDS® Hand-Stand™ and shoulder strap accessories. Access to the stylus remains while the device is docked. Included is a set of four nuts and bolts to connect the dock to any RAM® components containing the universal AMPS hole pattern.
