To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.
"RAP" Prefix Code
Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

The RAM® Quick-Grip™ Pro Phone Holder with Ball (RAM-HOL-PD5BU) is the next evolution of the RAM® Quick-Grip™ series. Re-designed with a new, sleek look and integrated rubber side arms to provide a secure, no-slip hold on your phone. This phone holder features an integrated cavity for an Apple MagSafe puck, allowing you to turn the phone holder into a wireless charging solution. Not interested in charging? No problem! The included anti-slip cover ensures a flush fit when the Apple MagSafe puck is not installed. The RAM® Quick-Grip™ Pro features a spring-loaded design that allows easy one-handed insertion and removal of your phone. The adjustable side arms ensure that your phone will remain secured in the holder without blocking any ports or buttons. Complete the solution by building your mount—this holder is RAM® Compatible™ and includes a B size diamond ball to be installed on the 2-hole AMPS pattern. RAM® recommends installing the provided device tether when this holder is used in a vehicle with an open cockpit. It is important to verify the dimensions of your handheld device with its case, sleeve, or skin when determining the overall size.
