To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

The RAM® Locking Vehicle Dock with GDS® is a spring-loaded, quick-release cradle with a keyed lock that offers a secure fit with easy access to the mounted tablet. This docking station is compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 SM-T590 (Wi-Fi) and SM-T597 (LTE) with IntelliSkin®. The integrated GDS® platform enables data sync and charging capabilities. Without the need to remove the IntelliSkin® sleeve from the device, users can quickly and efficiently mount the tablet in the vehicle dock while keeping the device charged and locked in place.
