To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

The GDS® Tough-Dock™ + Dual USB-A & USB-C for Samsung Tab Active5 & 3 (RAM-GDS-DOCK-SAM62C-CAU) is designed to support the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5, Tab Active3 and 2 in an IntelliSkin® Next Gen protective sleeve for your fleet. While the dock uses a USB Type-C female power connector and integrated pogo pins to provide power to the device while docked, the GDS® Tough-Dock™ also includes a dual USB Type-A and USB-C connector to support up to two peripheral add-ons such as a keyboard, printer, scanner and more. The GDS® Tough-Dock™ is compatible with RAM® ball and socket systems using the integrated 4-hole AMPS hole pattern. The GDS® Tough-Dock™ is backed by a 3-year warranty. Always Protected.
