To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.
"RAP" Prefix Code
Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

The GDS® Tough-Dock™ for Tab Active4 Pro & Tab Active Pro with Multi-Mode (RAM-GDS-DOCK-SAM54-MMU) is a vehicle dock designed to support the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro and Tab Active Pro in an IntelliSkin® Next Gen protective sleeve for your fleet. Mutli-Mode is integrated into the dock allowing centralized AI systems to perform as the host instead of the tablet, turning your IntelliSkin®-wrapped tablet into a peripheral. There is no button or switch that turns this function on and off — Multi-Mode is automatically activated when the device is docked. Using a USB Type-C power connector, the GDS® Tough-Dock™ supports high speed charging capabilities for the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro and Tab Active Pro. The GDS® Tough-Dock™ is compatible with RAM® ball and socket systems and requires a 4-hole AMPS pattern ball adapter. The GDS® Tough-Dock™ is backed by a 3-year warranty. Always Protected.
