"RAM" Prefix Code
To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.
"RAP" Prefix Code
Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

The GDS® Uni-Conn™ Powered 7" Pedestal Dock with PoE (RAM-GDS-DOCK-D11-7-U3E) is a free-standing, 7" pedestal dock for devices enclosed in an IntelliSkin® Thin-Case™ with Rear Pogo Pads. This solution can swivel 180 degrees and allows devices to tilt 180 degrees, which is ideal for customer-centric industries like retail, hospitality, food service, and more. Easily dock and undock your device with the assistance of the mechanical attachment mechanism. Power is provided to the pogo pins integrated into the GDS® Uni-Conn™ adapter via Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection. This dock features a drill-down attachment style, providing a stable base for the tall dock. One Dock to Connect Them All™ Always Protected. Always Connected.®
