To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.
"RAP" Prefix Code
Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

C Size - Medium - Large Tablets in Heavier Duty Applications
D Size - Heavy and Rugged Tablets and Laptops in Commercial Applications

The RAM® Grab Handle Bolt Adapter Base is the ideal base for installing RAM® Mounts on any vehicle's grab handle that features an M6 threaded bolt. With a hollow center, you are able to feed the 6mm bolt or smaller to screw into your vehicle's grab handle for a stable mounting base with no drilling required. Keep your windshield clean, and your phone mount out of the way with this grab handle mount for phones, GPS devices, GoPro® cameras, and more! Confirmed fitment for this product include the Toyota Tundra, Ford F-150, and all Ford Bronco models including the base model, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, Everglades, Heritage, and Raptor—however any vehicle which employs a 6mm bolt or smaller on its structure is compatible with this product. A smaller bolt can be used, though the load capacity decreases with the bolt size.
