To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

The RAM-138-235-TAB17U consists of a double u-bolt base with 1.5" dia. ball, double socket arm and Tab-Tite™ universal clamping cradle. The spring loaded design makes it easy to load and unload your tablet, along with keeping it secure while on the go. Interchangeable cup ends are designed to optimize the functionality of your tablet, allowing access to audio jacks, usb, power, and other ports, your tablet can be used just as it was intended. The Tab-Tite™ cradle is compatible with any tablet that will fit the dimensions listed below. It is important to verify the dimensions of your tablet when determining the overall size.
