To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.
"RAP" Prefix Code
Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

The RAM® Quick-Grip™ Pro XL Phone Mount with Twist-Lock™ Suction Cup - Medium (RAM-B-166-PD7U) is the next evolution of the RAM® Quick-Grip™ series, re-designed to be the most rugged universal phone holder that fits a wide range of phones and handheld devices. This phone holder features an integrated cavity for an Apple MagSafe puck, allowing you to turn the phone holder into a wireless charging solution. Not interested in charging? No problem! The included anti-slip cover ensures a flush fit when the Apple MagSafe puck is not installed. The RAM® Quick-Grip™ Pro XL features a spring-loaded design that allows easy one-handed insertion and removal of your device. Large and small shims are included to provide a snug, secure fit for large and small phones without a case. This kit includes a 3.3" diameter RAM® Twist-Lock™ suction cup base that easily installs onto any non-porous surfaces. RAM® recommends installing the provided device tether when this holder is used in a vehicle with an open cockpit. It is important to verify the dimensions of your handheld device with its case, sleeve, or skin when determining the overall size.
