"RAM" Prefix Code
To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.
"RAP" Prefix Code
Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

The RAM® Locking Vehicle Dock for XCover7 Pro & 6 Pro with Case / RAM® Skin™ (RAM-HOL-V15-SAM84CPLU) is a rugged dock that will meet and exceed the demands of modern workflows, featuring a USB-C connection tested for more than 250,000 cycles. The spring-loaded design of this dock allows for a quick one-handed insertion or removal of your device while the precise design of the dock body minimizes human error and port damage when docking the device onto the USB-C male connector. The back cavity of the dock accommodates ergonomic accessories secured to the back of the device. The key lock provides peace of mind and theft deterrence for high-traffic environments. An integrated cutout on the top allows for the ability to access the device's top button without removing the device from the dock. Complete the solution by building your mount—this holder is RAM® Compatible™ featuring a 2-hole AMPS pattern for adding a diamond ball adapter.
