To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

The RAM® Quick-Grip™ XL Phone Mount with Small Tough-Claw™ Base - Medium (RAM-B-400-PD4U) is a universal phone mounting kit with a base built to quickly clamp onto rails. The spring-loaded RAM® Quick-Grip™ allows users to easily insert and remove their phone with one hand, while the adjustable side supports for a secure fit. The RAM® Tough-Claw™ is the perfect mounting base for toolless installation and removal on round, square, and odd-shaped rails and bars, ranging from .625" to 1.14" in outer diameter. The RAM® ball and socket system allows for articulation at both ends of the double socket arm creating almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles. The cradle is compatible with handheld devices that will fit the dimensions listed below. It is important to verify the dimensions of your handheld device with a case/sleeve/skin when determining the overall size.
