To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

"RAP" Prefix Code

Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

The RAM-B-103-A-238CHU consists of a CHROME diamond base and SHORT double socket arm that will accept 1" ball bases. The diamond base measures 2.43" x 1.31" and contain two holes 1.912" from centre to centre, positioned at both ends of the diamond base. The hole pattern found on the diamond base will connect to many RAM cradles, as well as third party cradles including mounts with the industry standard AMPS hole pattern. Designed into the mount is a 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system with adjustment points at both ends of the socket arm; this with a twist of the arm knob allows for you to maneuver the mount to your optimum viewing position.
