To provide lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, RAM is made of marine grade Aluminium with a black powder coated finish, stainless steel hardware and 'rubber balls' - 'RAM' products are stiffer and stronger than their 'RAP' variants and typically used in more rugged applications.

Many of our 'RAM' products are available in a 'RAP' - composite variant. Our composite 'RAP' products are generally designed for lighter duty applications where keeping the weight of the mount low is a priority.

The RAM® Tough-Dock™ Power + Dual USB with Latch for Zebra ET401 8" (RAM-HOL-ZE44PD2U) features a top latch design for securing the tablet without wear and tear on the dock itself. Power is provided via a 5.5mm DC barrel connector and allows you to keep the device charged through the pogo pin contacts when the device is docked. A dual USB Type-A pigtail connector is provided for adding up to two additional input device. The dock also includes space in the back for tablet add-ons such as the Zebra Expansion Back, PowerPack Battery, and GDS® Ergo™ accessories like the GDS® Roto-Mag™ and GDS® Hand-Stand™. To mount this dock, pair any C and D size RAM® 4-hole AMPS or 75mm x 75mm VESA pattern bases for attaching a double socket arm in order to complete your mounting solution. Take the solution a step further by taking advantage of the built-in 2-hole mounting plate compatible with RAM® 2-hole diamond base for additional device mounting such as a phone, scanner, printer, or any other handheld device.
