Base Kit
A complete mounting solution will consist of a device holder (part number RAM-HOL-xxx) and a base kit which can be selected from the Base Kits list above.
Alternatively, you can build your own base kit using the foilowing components. Please note that each of the following links will open a new window or tab in your browser; You'll need a holder base RAM-B-238 to attach to your holder, a double socket arm e.g. RAM-B-201 and a suitable surface base of your choice which will have a 1" diameter ball (e.g. suction cup, u-bolt, clamp etc). Device holders are interchangeable so you dont need to change the base kit if you want to attach a different device. Base kits can also be modified by simply changing the surface base (e.g. suction mount to u-bolt mount).
Device Holders
All device holders with part numbers beginning RAM-HOL have two fixing holes and include a set of two nuts and bolts to attach to a base kit. All device holders have a flat, diamond profile fixing surface that mates with a base kit.
Base Kits
All base kits listed above have a flat diamond profile fixing surface which is either a part of the base kit moulding or a separate part (RAM-B-238) to attach to a device holder.
